Saint-Stanislas-de-Kostka (Montérégie) Just so that we have everything in black and white here, in addition to the BLACK Vulture we had on 29th April, today we were lucky enough to have a WHITE Pelican soaring overhead near St. Stanislas de Kostka, at around 1.00 p.m., just ahead of a kettle of Broadwings. It later headed off NE across the seaway. So, within about 72 hours, one rare species that is all black, with a small amount of white in the wing tips, and a second rare species that was all white with some black in the primaries and secondaries. Quite the contrast, literally.
